Warner Robins has been knocked-out of the Little League World Series. The Georgia-team, representing the southeast region in the tournament, was beaten Tuesday 7-5 by a team from Pennsylvania representing the Mid-Atlantic.

Slugger Jake Fromm came through in the clutch again for Georgia at the Little League World Series. The 13-year-old ace from Warner Robins hit a line-drove homer to highlight a three-run ninth, then returned to the mound in the bottom of the inning to finish off LaGrange, Ky., in an 8-5 victory. He fanned 10 in relief for the win.

Warner Robins is still alive in the Little League World Series. The Georgia-team reprresenting the Southeast region won its Saturday afternoon game. That advanced Warner Robins into a game Monday night against a team from the Great Lakes.

A baseball team from Warner Robins is preparing to play a team from Lafayette, La., in the first round of the Little League World Series.
