Milton held off visiting Walton 68-62 in a Class AAAAA first-round playoff game. The Eagles pushed the lead to 13 in the third quarter before Walton narrowed the gap to four points by the end of the quarter.

We are more-or-less halfway through the high school football season and several players that were on the initial Score 44 but fell off have worked their way back onto the list. Jason Croom who was a bit disappointing early on has really turned it on after declaring his intent to sign with Tennessee.

As more and more games are played the process of deciding who makes the cut becomes harder each week. The scale of potential vs. production is starting to tilt in the direction of production on the field, however you simply cannot ignore potential and who a player projects to be at the next level.
