The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation will fund a new initiative in Macon aimed at keeping Mercer University students living and working near campus after graduation.
Mercer University, The Telegraph and GPB are getting a $4.6 million grant from the Knight Foundation. The new Center for Collaborative Journalism will pair students with working journalists.
