State Revenues Rising Slowly
Georgia’s tax revenues are increasing at a slow but steady rate. The state has collected at least $115 million more in the first two months of this fiscal year than last year.

Retailers Want Sales Tax Holiday
Georgia retailers are fighting to bring back the sales tax holiday this year. The lobbying effort comes despite state lawmakers’ reluctance, and the Tax Reform Council’s recommendation, to not bring it back.
