Girl Scpit troops from across the country are planning to mark the organization's centennial this year. Juliette Gordon Low founded the Girl Scouts in Savannah 100 years ago in March. Some of the celebrations include a Camp-o-Ree at Fort-Stewart and a party in Savannah's Forsyth Park.

The historic city has an ordinance against sidewalk sales. After someone complained that the Girl Scouts were violating the ordinance by selling cookies in front of the historic home of the organization's founder, the city stopped the sales. Now, they're expected to resume.
