Georgia women are paying more for health insurance premiums than men. It's a legal practice called gender rating. A new report from the National Women's Law Center says, the disparities mean US women are paying $1 billion more than men each year. In Georgia, the difference in one plan means, a 40-year-old woman pays $650 more for health insurance every year based only on gender.
