Atlanta's High Museum of Art is set to present works by a Georgia-based jewelry designer. The High will present "Gogo: Nature transformed" from Jan. 19 through June 23. The exhibition features the work of Janet "Gogo" Ferguson, who lives on Cumberland Island off Georgia's Atlantic coast.
Gudmund Vigtel, who oversaw the High Museum of Art in Atlanta for nearly three decades, has died. He was 87. A statement issued by the museum says Vigtel died Saturday. He served as the museum's director from 1963 to 1991.
