The first round of the playoffs tonight centered around upsets involving Gwinnett and Cobb County teams. In one of the biggest upsets in the state tonight, Brookwood went to No. 2 Lassiter and handed the Trojans their first loss of the season in overtime. No. 4 seed Mill Creek traveled to north Fulton and upset Alpharetta with a last-second field goal, while Parkview traveled to east Cobb and beat Walton in overtime.
The action got fast and furious this week on the high school gridiron as No. 1 Grayson and No. 2 Walton fell in the state's largest classification.
