The British film studio home to the James Bond franchise and other major movie productions is announcing plans for its first U.S. movie production facility. Ivan Dunleavy is the CEO of Pinewood Shepperton PLC. He made the announcement Monday, saying the "agreement is another step forward for the Pinewood brand internationally."

Officials expect filming of the second movie in "The Hunger Games" trilogy will provide an economic boost to Clayton County, just south of Atlanta. Filming of "Catching Fire" is taking place over the next few months at a man-made water park known as "The Beach" at International Park in the Jonesboro area.

A film crew is in Macon shooting scenes for a new Jackie Robinson biopic. The film stars Harrison Ford, Christopher Meloni and Chadwick Boseman. This is Macon's second baseball-themed movie since March.

The Macon Film Festival is in its 7th year. This years event features 125 films over four days. MAGA runs February 16-19 in Downtown Macon.
