Georgia Tech is considering scrapping its undergraduate degree programs in Savannah. Officials with the Atlanta-based science and technology institute say, they're rethinking the school's entire coastal mission. Tech started offering undergraduate programs in Savannah 12 years ago.

Researchers at two Georgia universities are using the social networking site Second Life to help disabled students succeed in math and science. The program is the first of its kind and is being funded by the National Science Foundation.
