A coastal-area food bank is raising money to replace its freezer. America's Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia lost its freezer when the roof collapsed during a Labor Day weekend storm. The expense comes at a hard time for the food bank and the needy clients it serves.
The inaugural event involves a competition among Georgia lawyers. It is a partnership with the State Bar of Georgia and the Georgia Food Bank Association, and it's meant to benefit Georgia's seven regional food banks.
