The City of Savannah has taken a move that's being hailed by gay activists. The City Council unanimously approved a measure offering health care and other benefits to domestic partners of city employees. That means, if one-partner in a same-sex relationship works for the city government, the same-sex couple enjoys the same benefits as legally married workers.
