The mayor of Albany said officials are looking for ways to clamp down on unruly teenagers after violence marred the July 4th fireworks in the southwest Georgia city. Authorities blames most of the violence on unsupervised teenagers.

Two workers setting up fireworks for the Fourth of July display in Woodstock have been injured. Also, a boatload of fireworks on a lake in Villa Rica went up all at once near the VFW post, injuring two men preparing for the show.

Athens is bringing back its biggest Fourth of July fireworks display a year after the celebration got canceled because of budget woes. Corporate donors have stepped up to help the city fund the Star-Spangled Classic.
