Georgia Congressman John Barrow's decision to skip this years Democratic Primary doesn't surprise political analysts. His district was redrawn last year to include more Republican voters. A Barrow spokeman says the Congressman won't attend the August 27th because he's planning events in Georgia during that time.
U.S. Rep. John Barrow of Augusta will skip the Democratic National Convention in September. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Barrow joins a growing list of Democrats distancing themselves from the Sept. 3-6 event in Charlotte, N.C. Barrow spokesman Richard Carbo said Tuesday that Barrow won't attend because he's planning events in Georgia during that time.
