More than a quarter of Georgians are hitting the roads for the holidays in the next couple of weeks, prompted by low gas prices and high airfares. That’s 2.5 million Georgians who plan to travel 50 miles or more for the holidays, a slight increase over last year.

Georgia’s average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas has fallen another 2 cents in the past week. According to the AAA Gauge Report, it’s now at $3.24 - 15 cents less than the national mark

Gas prices continue to fall across the state. The Georgia average for a gallon of regular unleaded is down to $3.33 according to the AAA Fuel Gauge Report. That represents a drop of 12 cents in the past week.

Gas prices in Georgia are down 11 cents since this time last month, and they have been falling consistently since May, according to AAA’s Daily Fuel Gauge Report. The state average is $3.39 a gallon. But while the price of gas is down, diesel fuel remains expensive, holding steady around $3.85 a gallon.

Georgia’s average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas is down 11 cents in the past week to the current $3.54 mark. According to the AAA Fuel Gauge Report, that’s down from the previous $3.65 price.

Gas prices continue their downward trend in Georgia. According to the AAA Fuel Gauge Report, the average for a gallon of regular unleaded in Georgia Monday morning stood at $3.49. That’s down 6 cents from a week ago.

Gas prices in Georgia have dropped an average 4 cents in the past week. According to the AAA Fuel Gauge Report, Georgia’s price of $3.57 for a gallon of regular unleaded is 36 cents cheaper than a month ago.

Gas prices have stabilized or slightly dropped in Georgia over the past week. According to the AAA Fuel Gauge Report, the current $3.44 average for a gallon of regular unleaded is down 3 cents in the past week. But it’s still up by 35 cents in the past month, and gas prices are putting pressure on consumers and local governments alike.
