There are a host of events going on in Middle Georgia. Jackie K. Cooper, film critic for The Huffington Post and local harpist Betsy Fitzgerald share some ideas of things to do this month.

(1) COUNTRYWIDE MUSIC FESTIVAL
5 p.m. Sept. 11, Central City Park. A celebration of music in remembrance of Sept. 11, 2001. Dedicated to military, police and first responders. Including performances by David Nail, Keith Anderson, Jordan Rager, Phoenix Drive, Justin Dukes and Jacob Powell, food and beverages and more. No outside food or coolers permitted. (2) Wellston Winds concert, Sunday, September 13, 3:00, at Houston County High school. Sponsored by the Warner Robins Community Concert Association. The concert will include some great traditional concert literature, a tribute to Frank Sinatra, and a really fun selection titled "Godzilla Eats Las Vegas"...it is going to be a great concert for the audience and the performers! (3) MUSIC AND THE ARTS AT VINEVILLE
