Scott West, founder of Savannah Master Calendar, and Molly Swagler, vice president of the Tourism Leadership Council, offer up some ways to have fun in and around Savannah this weekend.

Molly’s picks:

-Get yourself in the mood for the weekend’s music festivities with Bourbon and Brass on Broughton Friday night. The event features the Stooges Brass Band on Broughton street between Drayton and Bull - and of course, Savannah’s spirit of choice. Friday, 6-9 p.m.; $30, $15 for military.

-Immerse yourself in southern culture at the “modern lowcountry hoe down” known as Revival Fest, Saturday at the Georgia State Railroad Museum. The event features a great musical lineup including Southern Culture on the Skids, Fruit Bats and Those Darlins, plus craft brews, bourbon and food cooked up by local restaurants. Saturday, noon-11 p.m.; $45 general admission, $95 VIP.

-Take the family to explore the Owens-Thomas House at the museum’s Free Family Day on Saturday. Meet characters from the house’s history and learn to play the games that were likely played by both the enslaved and the free children of the household. Saturday, 1-4 p.m.; free.

-Race for a cause at Saturday’s Tunnels to Towers run, beginning in Orleans Square. The run honors Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter who died on Sept. 11, 2001. Proceeds from the run benefit a foundation in Siller’s name that runs a number of programs, including one to build smart homes for injured veterans. Saturday, 8 a.m.; $40 general, $25 military and first responders.

Scott’s picks:

-Savannah Pride will kick the weekend off with a garden party Thursday at Ships of the Sea Museum, where guests should dress in all white. Then on Saturday it’s the Savannah Pride Festival in Forsyth Park, featuring live music, food and retail vendors and general fun for the whole family. Party Thursday, 7-10 p.m.; $10. Festival Saturday, noon-9 p.m.; $5 general admission, $50 VIP.

-Find any number of ways to support your favorite Savannah causes this week, with events by the United Way, Savannah Jaycees, Live Oak Public Libraries and many more. Find a full list here.

-Celebrate the Mint Green Tag Sale Company’s 100th sale - and look for your next great antique find - with their Ardsley Park “sale-abration” on Friday and Saturday at 514 E. 44th street. They’re giving away a $100 gift card on their Facebook page, and a portion of proceeds benefits Senior Citizens Inc. Friday, 4 p.m.-7 p.m. and Saturday, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.

-Continue your hunt for great secondhand finds at the Ultimate Yard Sale, Saturday on Dean Forest Road. Proceeds from the massive sale go toward providing newspapers to classrooms in the Coastal Empire. Saturday, 7 a.m.-noon.
