Everyone loves a fun costume party especially if they play great music! Macon’s historic Library Ballroom is hosting a totally awesome theme party featuring Matt Lang of Great White Lion Snake playing heavy metal favorites from the likes of Motley Crue and Guns N’ Roses and Legendary Hairy Monster, a band known for their renditions of great hits from Bon Jovi, Duran Duran, and more. Come dressed to impressed to win the award for best dressed, two tickets see Randall Bramblett, who has played with the Allman Brothers and Wide Spread Panic.

Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Jr.
Looking for a child-friendly activity that beats the heat? Head over to Macon’s Little Theatre to see a special youth adaptation of Disney’s hit Broadway and movie version of Beauty and the Beast. Even though this special version is only an hour long it is still full of favorite hit musical numbers such as “Be Our Guest” and the title song. Performed by the area’s leading youth performers, this production is directed by Sylvia Haynie and Laura Voss. If you want to attend, make sure to arrive early as tickets are only available at the door before each performance (no reservations are available).
