Presidential candidates are descending on Georgia in numbers not seen in a very long time. This week, Hillary Clinton stopped in Atlanta for a closed-door fundraiser, following her first campaign events in South Carolina. A potential Republican candidate, Gov. John Kasich of Ohio, spoke to gatherings of the GOP faithful in Sandy Springs and Walton County. Another prospective Republican candidate, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, will visit the state next week.

This week's episode of GPB's Political Rewind is all about presidential politics in the Peach State. Host Bill Nigut speaks with Pinney Allen, one of the organizers of Clinton's Atlanta fundraiser. Bill's panel of experts, insiders, and journalists also offer their take on the early state of the race in Georgia. They include Greg Bluestein and Jim Galloway of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, State Sen. Nan Orrock (D-Atlanta), Georgia Pundit editor Todd Rehm, and Leo Smith, minority outreach director for the Georgia Republican Party.
