Four finalists for the position of dean of the University of Georgia Graduate School are set to visit Athens in the coming weeks.

The university says a committee identified the four finalists after a national search.

Each finalist will make a public presentation. The finalists and the dates of their visits are:

- March 23: Suzanne Barbour, program director in the Division of Molecular and Cellular Biosciences of the National Science Foundation;

- March 25: Juli Wade, professor and chair of the department of psychology at Michigan State University;

- March 30: William Graves, professor of horticulture and associate dean of the Graduate College at Iowa State University;

- April 17: Carolyn Drews-Botsch, professor and vice chair of academic affairs in the department of epidemiology at Emory University.
