Being a “poor college student” is in many ways a rite of passage. The struggle to afford books and, okay, an iPhone, is somewhat romanticized.

But for many college students today, there is nothing romantic about what they are going through. Not only are they struggling to buy books and supplies, but they also struggle to buy food.

Student Brandi Blackmon has found a way to feed herself though - her college food pantry.
