December is full of things to do in Middle Georgia. Jackie K. Cooper, a film critic for The Huffington Post and Betsy Fitzgerald, a Macon harpist, have a list of their favorite events:

Jackie's picks:

(1) Warner Robins High School’s drama department will welcome in the holiday season with a special performance of Charles M. Schulz’s “A Charlie Brown Christmas” . The play is based on the famous television special. It will be performed on December 6th at 4pm in the Warner Robins High School Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $5.00

(2) Frank, Gayle and Brandon Borah have turned our lights on for the Christmas season. We are located on 1255 John E Sullivan Road, Byron, Ga , directly behind the Medical Center of Peach County. We don't have a web site - we just decorate for people to drive through the yard and enjoy.

Morning Music Club Annual Christmas Concert
Thursday, December 11, 2014

One of my favorite holiday traditions in Central Georgia is the spectacular choral Christmas concert presented by the Morning Music Club. The program features beloved Christmas carols and anthems featuring our community’s best singers in the eighty-voice choir and as soloists. J. Loyd Landrum will conduct this year’s ensemble and Gail Pollock will be the pianist. The Morning Music Club has been an integral part of the Central Georgia music community for over one hundred years. This concert is one of many that are part of their musical “gifts” to our community.

The adult and youth choirs will be directed by Dennis McCleary and accompanied on the harp by Betsy Fitzgerald. Theatre Macon’s Jim Crisp will also act as narrator.
