The weather that blew through Middle Georgia resulted in at least one tornado.

According to the Telegraph, an EF1 tornado hit southern Twiggs County.

Frank and Sue Freeman were watching the weather on television and worrying about friends in Jones County when the tornado hit their farm.

Sue Freeman said she heard a “roaring sound”, then got up and looked out the front door. She said it was over in a couple of minutes.

No one was hurt in the twister though the Freeman’s lost their trailer, chicken coops and other farm buildings.
