Bevin Valentine Jalbert of Paprika Southern magazine and Nathan Saludez of Art Rise offer up some great ways to have fun this weekend.

Bevin’s picks:

-Photography quarterly Ain’t Bad Magazine will launch their fall issue with a reception and gallery show at Oglethorpe Gallery on Friday, featuring work from 75 artists from around the south plus tasty food and drinks. Friday, 5-9 p.m.

-Relax on Saturday morning with yoga at Second Harvest Food Bank to celebrate lululemon’s second anniversary in Savannah. The class is free with a canned food donation, and since it’s a celebration comes with refreshments after the class. Saturday, 9 a.m.; free with canned good

-Enjoy the wacky fun of Pee Wee’s Big Adventure on the big screen at the Lucas Theatre Saturday - for a good cause. The screening is free but donations are highly encouraged, as all proceeds will go toward the medical bills of local musician and artist Keith Kozel, who is fighting a degenerative kidney disease. Saturday, 7 p.m.; donations encouraged

Nathan’s picks:

-Rock out to Japanese pop-punk trio Shonen Knife at Dollhouse Productions on Friday. The group presents their own unique blend of powerful punk music and a bubbly girl-group aesthetic. Local favorites COEDS will open. Friday, 8:30 doors; $10 in advance, $15 at the door

-There are just a few more chances to catch the Collective Face Theatre Ensemble production of Grey Gardens at Muse Arts Warehouse. It tells the story of eccentric cousins of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis who became East Hampton’s most notorious recluses. Friday and Saturday, 8 p.m., Sunday, 3 p.m.; $20 general admission, $15 for students, seniors and military

-Check out a wild race in Forsyth Park on Sunday, where teams will race mattresses around the park on frames of their own design. They’re competing for prizes in a number of categories, and teams will showcase creative costumes to boot. Sunday, 1 p.m.
