-Support the Georgia Conservancy with their Save Water Drink Beer event at Churchill’s Pub downtown Thursday. Network with others concerned with conservation and sip delicious local brews. Thursday, 6:30-9 p.m.

-Dig for great finds from more than 100 vendors at the Ultimate Yard Sale on Saturday, in the former Sam’s Club parking lot on Ogeechee Road. Saturday, 7 a.m.-noon

-Savannah’s latest local brewery, Service Brewing, will host its grand opening Saturday at their location on Indian Street. The company is founded and run by veterans, and $1 from each sale at the grand opening will go to Healing 4 Heroes. Saturday, noon-6 p.m.; free, souvenir glasses $12

Amy’s picks:

-Jack Reacher fans can see author Lee Child at the Lucas Theatre Thursday night, and have their books signed afterward. It’s presented by the Savannah Book Festival. Thursday, 6 p.m.; $15

-Savannah musicians will come together at the Jinx on Saturday for the fifth annual Statts Fest. The annual benefit show helps support local musician Jason Statts, who lost the use of much of his body due to a gunshot wound. Bands this year include Crazy Bag Lady, CUSSES and Black Tusk. Saturday, 4 p.m. to close; $20

-Plus, a number of events on Saturday will benefit a wide range of causes:

The Tunnel to Towers Run supports first responders. 8 a.m.; $40 entry, $25 military and first responders

A Lauren Pink event, presented by Belk and Ralph Lauren, will bring breast cancer awareness to the Belk at Oglethorpe Mall, complete with free mammogram screenings and a portion of proceeds going to women’s health foundations

A portion of sales at Affordables Apparel on Saturday will benefit, Safe Shelter, which offers a refuge for victims of domestic violence.
