Bill Dawers of Savannah Unplugged, Hissing Lawns and the Savannah Morning News and Siobhan Egan of Paprika Southern share their recommendations for a fun weekend in Coastal Georgia.

Siobhan’s picks:

-View some great kids’ art, much of it based on robots and toys, with Scribble Art Studio’s show of work from summer classes, called “I Don’t Want to Grow Up!” at Blick Art Materials downtown. Friday, 6-8 p.m.

-Celebrate your love for local food at the Bluffton, S.C. Boiled Peanut Festival on Saturday. The event includes vendors, a boiled peanut contest and competitions for Lil Miss Peanut and Lil Goober. Saturday, 12-6 p.m.

-Enjoy some family fun and support the Children’s Hospital at Memorial University Medical Center at the Happily Ever After Ball at Brockington Hall on Sunday. Kids can come dressed in costume and meet princesses and pirates alike. Sunday, 2-6 p.m.; $20

Bill’s picks:

-You’ve got two weekends left to see Bay Street Theatre’s production of Chicago -- but buy your tickets soon, as the popular and salacious musical has been selling out. Friday and Saturday shows are 21-plus. Friday through Sunday, 7:30 p.m.; $25

-Seersucker Live is back Friday, pairing with Deep to present The Wiretap Episode at Ampersand. The show combines literary readings, comedy and a party atmosphere for an all-around fun evening. Friday, 7:30 p.m.; $10, $5 for students and DeepKids family members

-If you’re looking to extend your weekend, singer-songwriter Tawny Ellis and local alt-country band Waits & Co. will perform at Dollhouse Productions. Tuesday, 7 p.m.; $7 in advance, $10 at the door.
