It’s almost July 4th. In Atlanta, before the cookouts and the fireworks, thousands of Atlantans will get up at the crack of dawn to run the annual AJC Peachtree Road Race.

The 6.2 mile race starts in Buckhead near Lenox Square mall and ends at Piedmont Park. While all of the racers will strap on their running shoes and race bibs, quite a few runners will be decked out in full costumes.
