Savannah-Chatham Animal Control takes in thousands of animals each year, and more than half are ultimately euthanized. Officials and advocates are working on ways to improve those numbers. Jessica Leigh Lebos has written a three-part series in Connect Savannah on the state of animal welfare, and she spoke to GPB about what's next for Chatham County's animals.
