Who’s Coming To The Savannah Music Festival?

The Savannah Music Festival is holding a concert tonight as it unveils its 2014 line-up.

The list of featured performers for the March and April event includes masters of classical, jazz, folk and world music.

The much-anticipated announcement always has some stalwarts and some surprises.

In surprises, blues musician Taj Mahal will make his Savannah Music Festival debut.

The 71-year-old two-time Grammy winner joins country star Vince Gill and flamenco singer Estrella Morente among those making their debuts at the Savannah Music Festival.

Classical and symphonic highlights include three premieres and the eighth consecutive Savannah Music Festival appearance of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

In other returning guests, Americana stars The Avett Brothers will play at the Johnny Mercer Theater.

A few more announcements are expected before the March and April festival.

This is its 25th season.

Along with St. Patrick's Day and the Rock & Roll Marathon, it's become an major tourist draw in this tourism-dominated city.

Tickets go on sale on Thursday morning at ten.
