This weekend fifty music acts and artists will perform in Columbus as part of the first ever CutBait Music Festival. The event is scheduled for Friday and Saturday.

Jacy Jenkins, one of the organizers of the festival, said they will have three outdoor stages and six indoor venues ranging from The Loft to the RiverCenter.

Jenkins said the event was inspired by the 30A Songwriters Festival in Northwest Florida. Organizers do not have an estimate on how many people they expect to attend the festival, but they plan to make it an annual event.
