Authorities say DaNita Wilson was arrested on seven counts of sexual abuse. Charlton County Court officials say bond was set at $35,000.
Six of the students involved were at least 16 years old and one was under the age of 16. Although 16 is the age of consent in Georgia, it is illegal for teachers to have sex with their students.
A Charlton County Magistrate Court clerk said a court date has not been set. It's unclear if Wilson has an attorney.
