State officials say a technology firm will expands its current headquarters facility in Atlanta, creating 800 jobs over the next two years.
Gov. Nathan Deal's office announced the jobs in a statement on Friday.
Deal said the company, AirWatch, also plans to invest more than $4 million in new equipment.
AirWatch was founded in 2003 by current owners John Marshall and Alan Dabbiere and has developed mobile device management software. It is headquartered at 1155 Perimeter Center on the north edge of Atlanta and has a current workforce of about 650 employees in Georgia.
Deal said hiring for the new workers has already begun, and the company's expansion is scheduled to be completed in 2015.
