Preseason No. 1 McEachern has tumbled out of the rankings as we re-visit the world of girls basketball midway through the season. In the Indians' wake, Norcross has risen to the top of AAAAAA while North Gwinnett has impressed as well and is right on the Blue Devils' heels. In Class AAAAA, Tucker has been the most impressive team thus far and has rocketed to the top of the rankings, trailed by region-rival Stephenson.

In Class AA a recent blowout win by Wesleyan over Lovett showed just how far the Wolves are from the pack while in AAAA Columbia beat defending Class AAAAA champ Miller Grove to cement its spot at the top.
