John Cowman, president of the air show, saidthis will be the first time the Thunderbirds – a top-flight group of F-16 jets -- will fly over the event.
Organizers expect about 75,000 people to flock to northwestern Georgia for the two-day event at the Richard B. Russell Regional Airport on Oct. 12 and 13.
