Company Plans Briscoe Field Jet Service

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga.  —  
ImagineAir said in a statement that within the next several years, it hopes to be providing 10 to 15 departures and arrivals per day at Briscoe Field in Lawrenceville, just northeast of Atlanta. A regional air carrier has announced plans for expanded commercial jet service at a suburban Atlanta airport, though it comes after recent county decisions against privatizing the airport.

ImagineAir said in a statement that within the next several years, it hopes to be providing 10 to 15 departures and arrivals per day at Briscoe Field in Lawrenceville, just northeast of Atlanta.

Company CEO Ben Hamilton said the business is working to make the airport a "hub for the aviation industry" but acknowledges that jet service is still years away.
