College students and community leaders planned an Atlanta rally in memory of Trayvon Martin, the Florida teen shot and killed by a neighborhood watch captain.

Clark Atlanta University said in a statement the rally was set for 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Clark Atlanta Quadrangle, on Atlanta Student Movement Boulevard.

The neighborhood watch captain, George Zimmerman, has said he shot Martin in self-defense on Feb. 26 in Sanford, Fla. No charges have been filed.

Participants in the Atlanta rally were asked to bring a bag of Skittles, the candy which has become a symbol in several demonstrations since Martin had just bought some before he was killed.
