Tuesday night Gingrich jumped out to an early lead early. With just 1% of precincts reporting, several news outlets declared Gingrich the Georgia winner.
With 73% of precincts reporting, Gingrich has 48.7% of the vote. Romney has passed Santorum to take over second place with 23.5%. Santorum trails with 20.7%.
