Macon Film Festival Opens

MACON, Ga.  —  
The Macon Film Festival, also known as MAGA is set for Downtown Macon. This years event runs February 16-19. The growing festival is in its 7th year and features 125 films from 15 countries as well as several free workshops. Special guests for this year's MAGA include Dublin native Joe Uliano. The recipient of Grammy's and Video Music Awards is an award winning producer who's produced videos for U2, Bruce Springsteen and the Foo Fighters. Also coming to the festival is native Maconite Jay Carson who served as the inspiration for the film, "The Ides of March".
