The Republican presidential race has arrived in Georgia with a month to go before the state’s primary. Candidate Mitt Romney is set to have an event with supporters in Atlanta Wednesday afternoon after his losses in three states Tuesday.

It will be the first time the Republican front runner has had a public event in Georgia since last year. The state's primary is March 6.

Georgia is GOP rival Newt Gingrich's home turf. He represented the state in the U.S. House for two decades.

The Romney campaign event is to be held in the showroom of Bottega Stone, which sells stone countertops, tiles and slabs.
