The case of a football coach beaten with a helmet after a high school game will be considered by a grand jury next week.

Investigators conducted 135 interviews after the October beating of David Daniel.

The Warren County High School head football coach suffered crushed bones in his face and had metal plates implanted in his head after he was beaten Oct. 14 following his team's 21-2 win over Hancock Central High School.

Authorities said the case goes before the Hancock County grand jury Jan 25.
