The day is part of StoryCorps, where we take time to capture the stories of important people in our lives, and its goal this year is to celebrate teachers.
The idea is to take an hour Friday to record an interview with a favorite teacher (or mentor) using whatever equipment is handy – your computer, a smart phone, a tape recorder.
