The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the two measures were among the bills that were filed Tuesday, the first day state lawmakers could submit proposals for the upcoming legislative session in January.
The drug-test requirement would apply to anyone seeking money from the federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program.
