Booster clubs are a big part of life for high school athletics. Often the bigger the support from a club—the greater the success for a team.
In southeast Georgia, the Statesboro High Blue Devils have won five state championships. Their last was in 2005 when one of Mike Rollins’ three sons was a senior on the team.
Rollins was president of the school’s booster club then, and is again this year. He spoke to GPB's Edgar Treiguts.
