CNBC has named Georgia the fourth best state for business.

With good infrastructure and a well-educated workforce, Georgia leapt from a ranking of 10 last year.

CNBC ranked all 50 states on a measure of competitiveness and attractiveness.

While Georgia improved in overall rankings, the state rated poorly in quality of life and the economy, amid a budget shortfall and high unemployment.
