A dozen blind students are attending a robotics camp this week at the Center for the Visually Impaired in Atlanta.

Students build the robots out of Legos and compete to see which is stronger. The first one pushed out of a small circle, loses.

Other students program their robots to navigate wooden mazes. A robot must make it out of the maze without hitting any walls.

Chanel is from Atlanta. She successfully moved her robot through the maze.

“I’m enjoying camp and I’m probably gonna have camp until I go to college cause this is just fun, it’s really fun.”

The camp is in its second year and encourages visually impaired middle and high school to learn possible career skills.

The camp is sponsored by Georgia Tech and WizKidz Science and Technology Center.
