Governor Nathan Deal flies to Europe on Sunday for a ten day business development trip. It will take him to the United Kingdom, Germany, and Austria.
The governor will be accompanied a small delegation including First Lady Sandra Deal. Their first stop is in London, according to Deputy Chief of Staff Brian Robinson.
“The governor will be meeting with the Minister of State for Trade, and Business and Enterprise, and having a round table with entrepreneurs and businesses there that are involved in public-private partnership."
Robinson added that these types of partnerships could play a part in Georgia’s transportation development.
Governor Deal will return May 24, which is also the last day he can sign or veto pending legislation.
