Dallemand offered the plan to school board members on Thursday. Dallemand says the changes will save about $1 million, with the money saved to be shifted toward student achievement.
Under the plan, the district will eliminate the jobs of deputy superintendent of support services, six assistant superintendents, seven directors and two coordinators.
Dallemand says officials affected by the reorganization will be allowed to reapply for the new positions. The new organizational chart goes into effect July 1.
