180 new manufacturing jobs are coming to Columbus. Aerospace company Pratt & Whitney is expanding its plant there.

Workers at the Columbus Engine Center overhaul military and commercial aircraft engines.

The expansion will allow the company to perform engine overhauls for Pratt & Whitney’s F117 engine.
Georgia’s aerospace industry ranks 8th in the nation, employing 80-thousand people.
