The Atlanta Falcons are ready for the playoffs.

They took care of the lowly Carolina Panthers yesterday afternoon inside the Ga Dome 31-10 to close the regular season.

The Falcons' 13-3 record earns them the top seed on the NFC side of the playoffs--meaning all playoff games will be home games for the team. They'll also get to sit and rest when the playoffs open next weekend.

The Falcons also won the NFC South Division for the first time since 2004.
