Actor Daniel Radcliffe says J.K. Rowling sent him a text the night of the London premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. He told MTV:
"Basically, it amounted to the fact that she felt I had been very good in this 'Harry Potter' film, and as a reward for that, she wasn't going to [write] any more 'Harry Potter' [books]."
Radcliffe has been working on the Harry Potter films for ten years now. I imagine that moving on to other projects must have a certain appeal. The latest film opens Thursday at midnight in the U.S. You can get my take on the book, anyway, here.
